During the Australia–Lithuania Defence Industry Business Breakfast, we presented the Lithuanian defence and security industry ecosystem and explored the technological and manufacturing capabilities of the Australian sector.

The meeting with representatives of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, assess business opportunities, and discuss regulatory aspects essential to the development of the defence sector.

This bilateral business dialogue, organised in cooperation with the law firm Sorainen Lithuania, is a key part of the Australian business and academic delegation’s visit to Lithuania. The delegation will also participate in the international defence technology conference Baltic Miltech Summit 2025, which begins tomorrow.

Lithuania is an attractive partner for defence industry investment, offering opportunities for industrial cooperation, a favourable legal environment, and strong support from the Government and public institutions.
