Defence Innovations: Funding, Priorities, and Cooperation
The Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association and representatives of the ecosystem participated in the event “Defence Innovations: Funding, Priorities, and Cooperation”, during which the most relevant innovation directions, funding opportunities, and the technological needs of the Lithuanian Armed Forces were discussed.
The event featured presentations on the 2024 “Defence Innovation Vouchers” calls and successful implementation examples. Active discussions between representatives of the military, academia, and industry highlighted the growing need to integrate advanced solutions into the national defence infrastructure.
We thank the Innovation Agency for another opportunity to deepen our knowledge about innovative project funding mechanisms and to strengthen cooperation ties with scientists and representatives of the Armed Forces. Joint initiatives that enhance Lithuania's defence capabilities and promote the development of high value-added solutions in the defence sector are of great importance.
