„Lockheed Martin – Lithuanian Defence Industry Day“
Representatives of the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LGSPA) participated in the event „Lockheed Martin – Lithuanian Defence Industry Day."
During the event, we presented the Lithuanian defence and security industry ecosystem: member competencies, technological capabilities, and real opportunities for cooperation with one of the world’s largest defence companies – Lockheed Martin.
We emphasized the industrial cooperation model enshrined in the Law on the Defence and Security Industry of Lithuania, which ensures a clear legal framework for long-term, mutually beneficial projects. This includes technology transfer, production localization, strengthening supply chains, and overall sector growth in Lithuania.
The event served as an excellent platform for open dialogue between international defence leaders and representatives of Lithuanian industry. LGSPA consistently aims for strategic partnerships with international defence contractors to be based not only on product supply, but also on high value-added cooperation: technology implementation, joint R&D activities, and manufacturing solutions in Lithuania.
