Meeting of LDSIA and ADS Members
This evening, an event dedicated to strengthening defence industry cooperation between Lithuania and the United Kingdom is taking place at the British Embassy in Vilnius. The event brings together the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LDSIA) and the UK's defence industry association ADS.
The event is also attended by representatives of defence and security sector companies, public sector institutions, and the innovation ecosystem from both countries. During the meeting, participants are discussing opportunities to strengthen the transatlantic partnership, models of bilateral industrial cooperation, measures to promote technological innovation, and shared interests in enhancing security and defence capabilities in the context of Europe and NATO.
Due to growing security challenges, particular attention is being paid to the rapidly evolving defence industry landscape, attracting investment, and strengthening strategic supply chains.
The memorandum of cooperation previously signed between the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LDSIA) and the UK's ADS Group is already yielding tangible results – the contacts established between the organisations have developed into a strong partnership, significant for both national security and the broader resilience of the transatlantic alliance.
