
The leaders of the Lithuanian defence and security industry will be honoured in Vilnius
The Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Awards are being held for the second consecutive year to honor achievements in domestic and international markets, innovations, outstanding products, services, and IT solutions for defense and security, as well as initiatives and exceptional contributions to strengthening national defense and security. The awards will also recognize institutions and politicians who have made significant efforts to enhance Lithuania's defense and security industry.
The ceremony will announce winners in 12 categories, including:
- Discovery of the Year: Nominees are LT Miltech, AB Vakarų laivų gamykla, Black Swan, and Mitekas.
- Recognition of the Year: Nominees include Broswarm, IT Logika, Astrolight Space, and Black AI, which are not members of the LDSIA.
- Innovator of the Year: Nominees are Airvolve, the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC), AMI WINGS (Antara), and Unmanned Defense Systems.
- Product of the Year: Nominees include the Hornet XR reconnaissance drone (Granta Autonomy), FPV drone Shpak 10 (RSI Europe), SkyWiper MOTO electronic warfare system (NT Service), and a bulletproof vest (Safariland).
- Service Provider of the Year: Nominees are Telekonta (innovative engineering solutions), 3PLdgm (hazardous cargo transportation), Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) for road construction solutions, and Lithuania Defense Services for military equipment maintenance.
- IT Company of the Year: Nominees are Altas IT, Hnit-Baltic, Pixpro, and Baltic Amadeus.
- Export Leader of the Year: Nominees include Geld Baltic (Super Garden), Altimus Tech, AB Giraitės ginkluotės gamykla (GGG), and NT Service.
- Infrastructure Solution of the Year: Nominees are KTD Group (Pabradė-Meškerinė road project), Helstomm Group (civil protection shelter), Jungtiniai Projektai (advanced construction solutions), and Iremas (non-standard equipment innovations).
- More Than Business: Nominees are Egidijus Skuzinskas (Arveka), Tomas Milašauskas (RSI Europe), Edvinas Kerza (ScaleWolf), and Robert Juodka (LDSIA board member).
- Company of the Year: Nominees include RSI Europe, NT Service, Unmanned Defense Systems, and Granta Autonomy.
- Defense Leader of the Year and State Institution of the Year: These awards will go to a politician and institution who have significantly contributed to national defense.
The event's patron is Lieutenant Colonel Linas Idzelis, Commander of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union. Special guests include the Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, General Raimundas Vaikšnoras, and appointed officials such as Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, Minister of National Defence Dovilė Šakalienė, and Minister of Economy and Innovation Lukas Savickas. The event is expected to host around 200 distinguished guests.
A Lithuanian defense and security industry product exhibition featuring about 30 companies will be on display throughout the event at Vilnius Town Hall, marking a unique occasion in the Baltic region.
