A cooperation agreement was signed today (December 9) at Vilnius Town Hall by Vaidas Sabaliauskas, Director of the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LDSIA), and Lieutenant Colonel Linas Idzelis, Commander of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union.
“Today’s agreement is a strong symbol of our shared values and collaboration. The Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union and the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association are jointly committed to strengthening our country’s security, fostering civic engagement, and promoting innovation in the defense sector. I hope this agreement becomes an example of how working together can help achieve the highest goals – securing the future of our freedom and independence,” said LDSIA Director Vaidas Sabaliauskas.
The agreement outlines plans to collaborate on promoting civic education and voluntary service, implementing patriotic education initiatives, informing the public about the importance of the defense sector, and organizing training and seminars on the planning, development, and advancement of defense and security technologies. Additionally, the parties agreed to utilize their expertise in testing defense and security technologies and jointly participate in real-world trials.
